Solution:
The fertilized eggs of cockroach are encased in capsule called oothecae which are dark reddish to blackish brown capsule and about 8 mm long. The eggs are usually dropped or glued to a suitable surface which can be a crack or crevice of higher relative humidity near a food source. The female produces 9 to 10 oothecae which contains 14 to 16 eggs each. The development of cockroach is through a nymphal stage and this type of development is known as paurometabolous. The nymph resembles very much like the adults and it grows by moulting about 13 times to reach the adult form.
