To find,$u$ = ?
Using lens formula $\frac{1}{f}=\frac{1}{v}-\frac{1}{u}$
$\frac{1}{f}=-\frac{2}{f}-\frac{1}{u}$
$\frac{1}{u}=\frac{1}{f}-\frac{2}{f}$
$\frac{1}{u}=-\frac{1}{f}$
$\Rightarrow u=-f$
