Oxygen dissociation curve is a sigmoid shaped curve. This graph has a partial pressure of oxygen on X-axis and percentage saturation of hemoglobin on the Y-axis. This explains oxygen transport through blood. Right, and left deviations are seen in case of oxygen dissociation near tissues and its association near alveoli with hemoglobin respectively.
