In pheretima posthuma, common Indian earthworm, female gential pores present upon segment 14th, while one pair ovary on segment 13th. Genital papillae occurs in segments 17 and 19 and male genital apertures upon segment 18. Segments 15-26 are the pretyphlosolar region of the intestine.
