The primary cell wall contains many small or openings pores situated in the primary fit fields.The cytoplasm of adjacent cells communicates through the pores by means ot cytoplasmic bridges, called plasmodesmata. The plasmodesmata permits circulation of fluid and passage of solutes between cells.
