The 1-3 coiled structures present within the testicular lobules are known as seminiferous tubules. The process of formation of sperms, i.e., spermatogenesis occurs here. These tubules are lined by two types of cells: male germ cells, i.e., spermatogonia, which develop into sperms and sertoli cells which provide nutrition to the sperms.
