Solution:

Miller set an experiment to test the Oparin-Haldanes theory. He created primitive atmosphere like conditions by sealing in a spark chamber, a mixture of water vapour , methane , ammonia and hydrogen gas . After eighteen days, significant amount of the simple major organic compounds (monomers), such as ammo acids and peptide chains, began to appear in the aqueous sample of the experimental set.
