Given equation is 3x+y−8=0…(i)
Dividing (i) by (3)2+(1)2=2, we get 23x+21y=4 or cos30∘(x)+sin30∘(y)=4…(ii)
Comparing (ii) with xcosω+ysinω=p, we get p=4 and ω=30∘
