Solution:

Dicot root differs from monocot root in few features like, in dicot root 2 to 4 xylem and phloem patches are present and pith is small and inconspicuous, whereas in monocot root there are more than six xylem bundle and pith is large. Vascular bundles are radial and the xylem is exarch in both monocot and dicot root.
