Oils, which are liquids at ordinary temperatures, contain a large proportion of unsaturated acids, like oleic acid, linoleic acid, linolenic acid. The facts which are solids at ordinary temperatures, contain a large proportion of saturated acids, like-myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid. e.g., glyceryl trioleate, which contains unsaturated acids components is an oil.
