Solution:
Nuclear pores of various diameters are present in the nuclear membrane, through which the bidirectional movement of the RNAs and proteins occurs between the cytoplasm and nucleoplasm. The nuclear pores are formed when the outer nuclear membrane is fused with the inner nuclear membrane. The nuclear pores are enclosed by circular structures called annuli. The pore and annuli together are called pore complex or pore basket.
