Q. Muscles are confined to body wall, absent in alimentary canal in
Solution:
Solution:
A pseudocoelomate is an organism in which the body cavity is not derived from the mesoderm, as we see in a true coelom, or body cavity. A pseudocoelomate is also known as a blastocoelomate. The body cavity is derived from the blastocoel. A true coelom is lined with a peritoneum which functions to separate the fluid from the body cavity. In a pseudocoelomate (false coelom), the body fluids bath the organs, and receive their nutrients and oxygen from the fluid in the cavity. Pseudocoelom is a persistent primary body cavity. Muscles are confined to body wall, absent in alimentary canal in Pseudocoelomate. Eg: Aschelminthes.
