Solution:

Most of the enzymes consist of proteins. They catalyze biological reactions without themselves being used up. Enzymes cannot be transported from cell to cell, so each enzyme is synthesized in a particular living cell.
Proteolytic enzymes are mainly secreted in pro-enzyme form. Like pepsinogen, trypsinogen, chymotrypsinogen, etc.
Protein being everything for a living cell.
If an enzyme which degrades protein gets released in active state it will start digesting the proteins those mainly present as structural form, i.e. of cell membrane includes extrinsic and intrinsic proteins. If extrinsic proteins digests, there is loss of receptors and if intrinsic proteins digests then it will dissolve the phospholipid layer. So, ultimately it leads to dissolving the overall cell.
They are released in inactive stage until and unless the conditions are favorable to protect those cells that protect them from their action.
So, that most of the enzymes when secreted are in inactive form (called proenzymes or zymogens) otherwise they will mainly destroy.
