The maxima is obtained whenever
$x_{cm}=\frac{n\lambda D}{d}.$
For first wavelength,
${\left(x_4\right)}_{{\lambda }_1}=\frac{4{\lambda }_{1}D}{d}$
For second wavelength, ${\left(x_x\right)}_{{\lambda }_2}=\frac{3{\lambda }_{2}D}{d}$
$\because {\left(x_4\right)}_{{\lambda }_1}={\left(x_3\right)}_{{\lambda }_2}$
$\therefore \frac{4{\lambda }_{1}D}{d}=\frac{3{\lambda }_{2}D}{d}\Rightarrow \frac{{\lambda }_1}{{\lambda }_2}=\frac{3}{4}$
