Solution:

Cycas belongs to gymnospermic group of plant. It contains largest ovule (compare to other plants).
Ovule is orthotropous (up right) type. It contains a thick integument which can be divided into three layers viz., outer fleshy, middle stony and inner fleshy layers. At the apex of ovule is present a pore called micropyle, which opens in to a micropylar chamber. Integument covers a mass of cells called nucellus, which in trun covers the female gametophyte or endosperm. Endosperm contains two archegonia at the micropylar end.
