: Photoautotrophs are those plants which can synthesized their own food in presence of light. Kingdom plantae consists of multicellular eukaryotic photosynthetic organisms like cryptogams (algae, bryophyte, pteridophyte) and phanerogams (gymnosperm and angiosperms). The photoautotrophs may be aquatic (water), terrestrial (land) or epiphytic (live on tree trunks).
