For equilibrium, $F_B=W$
$\Rightarrow LA{\rho }_{s}g=A\left[x{\rho }_0+(L-x){\rho }_w\right]g$
$\Rightarrow L{\rho }_s=x{\rho }_0+(L-x){\rho }_w$
$\Rightarrow {\rho }_s=\frac{x}{L}\left({\rho }_0-{\rho }_w\right)+{\rho }_w$
$\Rightarrow \frac{x}{L}=\frac{{\rho }_w-{\rho }_s}{{\rho }_w-{\rho }_0}$
