Kjeldahl's method is used for the estimation of nitrogen. The organic compound is heated with conc. $H_{2}S{O}_4$ in presence of $K_{2}S{O}_4$ and a little $CuS{O}_4$ to convert all the nitrogen into ${\left(N{H}_4\right)}_{2}S{O}_4\cdot K_{2}S{O}_4$ raises the boiling point of $H_{2}S{O}_4$ while $CuS{O}_4$ catalyses the reaction.
