In the grassland ecosystem, the biomass relationship is in the form of a triangle with producers being on the first level with the highest biomass.
The second level is occupied by the first-level consumers or the herbivores that eat the producers., and on the third level are the carnivores that eat the herbivores. The biomass keeps on decreasing as we go above the food chain.
If we start with a 1000kg of producers, the herbivores will have 100kg and the carnivores will have 10kg.
