Solution:
In mesophyll cells of C4 plants CO2 combines with PEP to form oxalo acetic acid. The oxaloacetic acid by transamination converted to aspartic acid or may reduced to malic acid. The malic acid transported to bundle sheath cell and converted to pyruvic acid and CO2. The CO2 released in bundle sheath cell is fixed by Calvin cycle in bundle sheath cell (final CO2 fixation).
