Solution:
The joints which are immovable i.e. do not permit any degree of movement are known as synarthrodial joints. This type of joint is seen in the flat skull bones, which fuse end to end with each other with the help of dense fibrous connective tissue and form the cranium.
Amphiarthrodial joints are joints which permit some degree of movement. The joint between adjacent vertebrae is an example. They are also called cartilaginous joints.
Diarthrodial joints are joints which allow complete movement. Elbow joint, knee joint, etc. are some examples. They are also called synovial joints.
