In end on position, the electric field strength is given by $E_1=\frac{1}{4\pi {\epsilon }_0}\times \frac{2p}{d^3}$ ?.(i) Electric field strength on broad side on position or on equatorial position is $E_2=\frac{1}{4\pi {\epsilon }_0}\times \frac{p}{d^3}$ ??(ii) Now from equations (i) and (ii) $\frac{E_1}{E_2}=\frac{2}{1}$ or $E_1=2E_2$
