For the given velocity of projection u, the horizontal range is the same for the angle of projection θ and 90∘−θ
Horizontal range R=gu2sin2θ ∴ For body ARA=gu2sin(2×30∘)=gu2sin60∘
For body BRB=gu2sin(2×60∘) RB=gu2sin120∘=gu2sin(180∘−60∘)=gu2sin60∘
The range is the same whether the angle is θ or 90∘−θ. ∴ The ratio of ranges is 1:1
