This physiological experiment shows ringing experiment for translocation of sap. In this experiment, phloem (bark) is removed, which is responsible for carbohydrates transportation from leaves level to root level. Therefore, food will be stored on upper side.
In second experiment, the xylem part is removed which is responsible for water transportation from root level to leaf level. In the absence of xylem, transportation of sap will be check up.
