Solution:
The body temperature is constant in homeothermic (warm-blooded) animals such as birds and mammals. Rat is a mammal and a regulator, and it doesn't change its body temperature according to environmental temperature. The fishes, amphibians and reptiles are poikilothermic (cold-blooded) animals and change the body temperature according to the external temperature.
