Myogenic heart has contraction initiated by a special node of modified heart muscles called Sino Atrial node (SA node). SA node is located in right atrial wall below the opening of the superior vena cava. It initiates each cardiac cycle. This is also known as pacemaker or "heart of heart" because it functions as originator of cardiac impulse AV node is also called pace setter. AV node is connected to bundle of His. These bundle has two branches which gives rise to fine Purlunye fibres to right and left walls of ventricles :
