Solution:

For the heating of Earth's surface and atmosphere, a naturally occurring phenomenon known as the "greenhouse effect" is responsible. Various greenhouse gases like CO2, H2O, methane, and chlorofluorocarbons are essential for keeping the Earth warm and hospitable by preventing a substantial part of long wave radiation which are emitted by Earth to escape into space. Greenhouse flux is the downward flux of radiation. Since gases like carbon dioxide methane, Chlorofluorocarbons, and nitrous oxide are responsible for the greenhouse effect; and the contribution of water vapours is also towards the greenhouse effect. The relative contribution of various greenhouse gases to total global warming includes 60% from carbon dioxide, 20% from methane, 14% from chlorofluorocarbons, and 6% from N2O.
