Gambusia (mosquito fish) feeds on mosquito larvae and, is therefore used as larvicidal. Mosquito fish are small guppy-like fish used to control mosquito population. These have upturned mouth specially designed for scooping up larvae prey. Echeneis (Sucker fish) bears a large, flat, oval adhesive disc or sucker made by two rows of transverse lamellae on upper surface of head. It usually carried from place to place attached to body of larger fish. The relationship is called, commensalism. Clarius batrachus (cat fish) is a carnivorous predatory fish feeding exclusively on small fishes, fishfry and prawns. It is highly nourishing and esteemed as food.
