In a series LCR circuit, potential difference leads the current by an angle ϕ (let). ϕ=tan−1(RXL−XC)
or ϕ=tan−1(RωL−ωC1)
At resonance, XL=XC,i.e,ωL=ωC1
Hence,ϕ=tan−1(0)=0
Therefore, phase difference between current and voltage at resonance is zero.
