It is clear from the curve that points corresponding to $t=2s$ and $t=6s$ are separated by a distance $\lambda$ belongs to one time period. Hence, these points must be in same phase.

Similarly, points belonging to $t=0s$ and $t=2s$ are separated by half the distance that belongs to one time period. Hence, they are not in phase.
However, points belonging to $t=3s$ and $t=5s$ or $t=1s$ and $7s$ are at separation of different time period, hence they must not be in phase.
