Solution:

MEIOSIS I is the reductional division. In the anaphase I of meiosis I, Homologous chromosomes are divided into two and moves towards the different pole. Each pole gets only one set of chromosomes.
Hence, If there are eight chromosomes in the diploid mother cell, Daughter cells will have only four chromosomes at the end of meiosis I. Each chromosome is the diad of two chromatids. It means daughter cells will have eight chromatids.
