Solution:

I. Loose connective tissue (Cell and fibres are loosely arranged in a semi-fluid ground substance)
a. Areolar tissue: It possesses fibroblast cells, mast cells and macrophages. It acts as a supporting framework for epithelia. Location: Beneath the skin as panniculus carnosus.
b. Adipose tissue: This tissue is modified for storing fats. Excess of nutrients is converted to fats and stored in it. Location: Adipose tissue layer beneath the skin as panniculus adiposus.
II. Dense connective tissue [Fibres and fibroblast cells are densely packed in regular (dense regular) or irregular (dense irregular) pattern]
a. Dense regular tissue - Fibres are packed in numerous bundles.
Examples: Tendons (join skeletal muscles and bones) and ligaments (join bone to bone)
b. Dense irregular tissue - Possess fibroblasts and many fibres (mostly collagen). Example: In skin.
