: Fasciculated roots are modified adventitious roots in which several tuberous roots occur together at the base of the stem in a cluster. Examples are Asparagus, Dahlia etc. Stilt roots are short roots which grow obliquely from near the base of the main stem and go into the soil. Fusiform roots are thick in the middle and tapering on both the ends. Tuberous roots get swollen in any portion thus not having any definite shape.
