Solution:
Cast net or ghagaria jaal are used to catch fresh water fishes. This is a circular umbrella shaped net made up of cotton wire. The number of meshes on the mouth is 50 and at the periphery around 1000. At the time of fishing, the net is swung overhead and dropped to the distance reachable by attached rope. Cast net is operated from the boat. After sometimes it is slowly dragged in water with the rope. The fishes enters in the net pockets and thus are caught and collected.
