Solution:

There are total 639 muscles in the human body. Depending upon striations, the muscular tissue is divided into Striated and Non-Striated Muscles. Striated includes the skeletal and Cardiac muscles while Non-striated includes Smooth muscles. Muscle is covered by epimysium. In the muscle, the muscle fibres are arranged in groups called fasciculi, Each fasciculi consists of muscle fibres which are surrounded by endomysium. The microscopic structure of a myofibril is formed by Light or Isotropic Band and Dark or Anisotropic Band.
Cardiac Muscles are branched, involuntary muscles present only in the heart. They are uninucleate. They are striated muscles because of the presence of intercalated discs that connects cardiac cells and helps them to perform as a single unit. Cardiac muscles are both neurogenic and myogenic, hence, they show Auto-rhythmicity. Refractory period is the interval between two contraction. In cardiac tissue, there is a large diastolic phase or the resting, hence they never undergo fatigue.
