Archaeopteryx (lizard bird) is a primitive fossil bird, which existed on earth about some 150 million ears back. It is a connecting link between reptiles and birds. It possessed wings, feather, prolonged beak (birds), teeth in beak, keetless-stemum, long tail with unfused vertebrae, pygostyle absent, separate digits of wings and claws on fingers (reptiles).
