Solution:

Nastic movement is growth movement of curvature and can be autonomic or paratonic. They are non direction movement, in which the direction of response or movement is determined by the structure of responsive region. It may be of following types
(i) Hyponasty greater growth of an abaxial (dorsal) side, eg, closing of flower.
(ii) Epinasty greater growth of an adaxial (ventral) side, eg, opening of flower.
(iii) Thermonasty This type of movements are controlled by temperature, eg, opening and closing of Tulip and Crocus flower.
(iv) Photonastic are light induced movement, eg, opening and closing of flower.
(v) Nyctinasty are light induced bending movements of leaves.
Movements caused by water are called hydrotropism.
