Plants use radiations of wavelength between 400 - 700nm for photosynthesis. It is called as photosynthetically active radiation (PAR). Therefore, below 400nm photosynthesis does not take place and oxygen will also not release as the oxygen releases by the photolysis of water during photosynthesis
