Here, μ=1.5,R1=20cm,R2=−20cm ∴fL1=(1.5−1)(201−−301) =0.5×(605)
or fL=5120=24cm
Focal length for mirror, fm=2R=2−20=−10cm ∴ Equivalent focal length feq=fL−2+fm1=24−2+−101=60−11 ⇒feq=11−60cm
Hence, this system behaves like a concave mirror of focal length 11−60cm
