The capacitors C1 and C2 are connected in parallel, the equivalent capacitance C′ is given by C′=C1+C2=2μF+3μF=5μF

The capacitors C′ and C3 are connected in series and equivalent capacitance C′′ is given by C′′1=C′1+C31=5μF1+5μF1; C′′=2.5μF
