Solution:

Saddle joint resembles ball and socket joint (shoulder and hip joints) but neither the ball nor the socket is couplet in it. This joint is not found in frog and is present between carpels and metacarpels of thumb of mammals, that is why mammals are able to move thumb is many directions.
