Solution:

Placenta also acts as an endocrine tissue and produces the following hormones:
A. Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG). B. Human placental lactogen (hPL). C. Estrogens. D. Progestogens.
The ovary produces relaxin hormone in the later phase of pregnancy. Hormones produced in women only during pregnancy: hCG, hPL and relaxin.
Hormones that are increased in concentration (by several folds) in maternal blood during pregnancy: Estrogens, progestogens, cortisol, prolactin, thyroxine, etc.
