Q. Which property is kept constant in the verification of Charles law?

NTA AbhyasNTA Abhyas 2022

Solution:

Charles law is an experimental gas law which describes how gases expand when heated. Statement of Charles law : At constant pressure and for fix amount of an ideal gas, volume of the gas is directly proportional to absolute temperature ( temperature in Kelvin scale ) of the gas.
Hence, pressure of the gas remains constant in verification of Charles law.
