Q. Which part of the plant shows thigmotropism?

Solution:

The climbing parts of the plants such as tendrils grows towards any support which they happen to touch and wind around that support. So, tendril of plant are positively thigmotropism. Thigmotropism or haptotrophism are movements due to contact with a foreign body. Tendril of Cucurbitaceae petiole of clematis, leaf apex of Gloriosa are some examples.
