The immune cells are synthesized and get matured in the primary lymphoid organs like thymus and bone marrow. After maturation, the lymphocytes migrate from primary lymphoid organs to secondary lymphoid organs like spleen, lymph nodes, tonsils, Payer's patches in small intestine and appendix.
