Instead of ethanamide, propanamide reacts with $Br _2$ in the presence of sodium hydroxide to give ethylamine.
$\underset{\text { Propanamide }}{ CH _3 CH _2 CONH _2} \xrightarrow[ NaOH ] { Br _2}
\underset{\text { Ethanamineor ethylamine }}{ CH _3 CH _2 NH _2}+ CO _2$
This reaction is known as Hofmann degeadation reaction.
So, (c) is incorrect about amines.
