Solution:
Microsporangia is a structure located in anther which further develops into a pollen sac. It is a diploid structure. Pollen mother cells are diploid cells that undergo meiosis to form four microspores, hence microspores are haploid cells. Similarly, Megaspore mother cell is a diploid cell which undergoes meiotic division to form four haploid megaspore. Microspore is a male gamete that fuses with two polar nuclei present in the central cell in embryo sac resulting in the formation of the triploid endosperm. Hence, Microsporangium is a diploid structure.
