Solution:

Phenylketonuria, cystic fibrosis, and Alzheimer's disease are caused due to autosomal recessive gene present on chromosome numbers 4, 7, and 19 respectively. Huntington's disease is an autosomal dominant disorder in which means one copy of the altered gene in each cell is sufficient to cause the disorder. It is caused due to a defective gene present on chromosome 4. There is a gradual degradation of brain tissue during middle age leading to consequent shrinkage of the brain.
