Q. Which of these cell organelles found exclusively in eukaryotes is not membrane bound?

NTA AbhyasNTA Abhyas 2020Cell : The Unit of Life

Solution:

The nucleolus, ribosomes, and centrioles are non-membrane bound cell organelles. Ribosomes are found in both prokaryotes and eukaryotes. The entire endomembranous system (ER, Golgi body, lysosome, vacuole), peroxisomes, cilia, flagella have a single membrane surrounding them. Mitochondria and nucleus are surrounded by two membranes.
