Nirodh is the most popular brand of condom which is available in the market. It is a barrier method of contraception. They are usually made up of thin rubber sheath or latex. They are used to cover the tip of the penis, just before the coitus. This prevents the ejaculated semen from entering the female reproductive tract. Apart from acting as a contraceptive, condoms also act as a protection against STDs like AIDS.
